About: After holding leadership positions in the food & beverage industry (Nestlé, Pacovis), Maria Luisa founded Mia Lou AG, catering to the beauty and haircare market. She is now the Co-Head of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of University of St. Gallen and holds board seats at a number of SMEs, startups, and think tanks. As an experienced marketing strategist, founder, and Innosuisse trainer, Maria Luisa is the thought leader to follow on how to shape the story of your startup idea, to mobilize customer engagement and funding. Maria Luisa is a PhD graduate from SDA Bocconi and MBA alumna from ESCP.
Innovation with Corporates: Dr. Michael Kompatscher
About: Michael is the CEO of Hagerbach Test Gallery. Heading Amberg Group’s efforts to explore new technologies in construction materials and processes, he drives visionary initiatives like the Mars Habitat Challenge, working with startups on solutions and business opportunities for building human settlements on other planets – this initiative is also backed by ACO, Belloli, ESA BIC Switzerland, Implenia, Mission Earth First und SIKA. Previous to Amberg Group, Michael led corporate innovation programs at SwissGeoPower, Misapor AG, BASF, and Proceq. Michael holds a PhD in Physics from ETH Zurich.Scale Internationally: Olga Miler
Olga is the co-founder and CEO of SmartPurse, a fast-scaling fintech startup based in Zurich and London. Previous to starting her own company, Olga was Managing Director in Wealth Management Marketing Global at UBS, and had held positions at Quintet Private Bank, Nestlé and PwC.
